Died in 2017<\/p>\n<p>The name \u201colive drab\u201d refers to the fact that the hue is brownish-green in appearance. Gibson used this colour on SGs from the mid \u201960s and started using it again in 2013 for its famous (and very limited) signature Chris Cornell ES-335.<\/p>\n<p>These days Olive Drab is frequently used by Gibson\/Epiphone and Fender, for both lower range and custom <a href=\"https:\/\/clandestineguitars.com\/tienda\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"Tienda\">shop<\/a> guitars.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Our vintage-inspired colors<\/h2>\n<p>Nitorlack colors are based on the original\u00a0<strong>Fender and Gibson colors<\/strong>. The creation of these colors is preceded by a great work and exhaustive study by our laboratory and technical department. Thanks to it, we have been able to recreate with fidelity the tones of the Fender and Gibson guitars of the 50\u2019s and 60\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>During those years up to the present day it should be noted that the\u00a0<strong>colors of vintage guitars<\/strong>\u00a0have changed a lot over the years due to the aging of the\u00a0<strong>nitrocellulose lacquer<\/strong>\u00a0and modifications in the colors of the brands.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, two guitars finished in 1960 with fender colors may be totally different from each other or from a more current
